'635 poor people upside down'

after American literature, all i have left is the Visual Culture paper- that abstract, vaguely arty and baffling one where you have to talk about words, images, semiotics and John Berger's dodgy tie. an article in the Times mentions Scott King, a graphic designer/artist who's been snapped up by Saatchi in the hopes of creating a new Saatchi-geist this summer. don't know about that, but his work certainly brings the mild lolz.

i would rather see a budgie-deity in Vogue, too.
they should consider recruiting this guy. if not Vogue, then Monocle. if not Monocle, then maybe Modern Toss.
